Having the right grill is incredibly important to having an awesome summer! I have had gas grills, charcoal grills, pellet grills, and really any grill that you can probably think of.
You may also notice from the title of this article that the grills on this list are all from Walmart! You may be asking, but aren’t Walmart products cheap? No… you just need to get the right ones.
So without better things to do, here are the best grills that I would consider at Walmart!
1. Weber Genesis II E-335 LP Gas Grill – Best Overall Grill
Yes, there are so many different types of grills out there right now, but let’s be honest, the gas grill is going to be the easiest and quickest way to get your grilling going this year.
By far Weber is my favorite brand, and offers great quality and (whether you want to acknowledge it or not) value.
We personally own the first generation Weber Genesis, and it is immediately our go-to grill at our home. To put it into context, until recently I think we had 4 or 5 grills at once, and this grill was used around 98% of the time.
2. Tabletop Grill – Blackstone 17″ Best Tabletop Outdoor Griddle
Do you live somewhere that you just can’t fit a full size grill, but still enjoy getting to grill? This griddle style tabletop grill would be perfect for you.
You can place it on tables, picnic tables, counters, etc (just make sure it’s outside).
3. Cuisinart 14″ Portable Charcoal Grill – Best Cheap Tabletop Charcoal Grill
Needing a grill for on-the-go, camping, or just need a small grill but don’t want gas or a griddle style surface. This Cuisinart portable charcoal grill may work exactly the way you need.
It is a simple kettle style charcoal grill that can easily sit on a campsite table, a tailgate, or on the ground (just a little harder to get to).
4. Pit Boss Classic Wood Fired Pellet Grill – Best Pellet Grill
So we actually used to own a larger version of this grill, and it was rather awesome! Unfortunately we found that we used the Weber Grill considerably more than this one in the long run, and decided to let it go to a better home.
That said, so many people out there swear by these pellet grills, and this one is an awesome value.
My favorite things about these grills are their ability to smoke meat at low temperatures! While normal gas grills just don’t quite make that as easy, this is a standard functionality on this grill.
You can cook meat at high temps, smoke it like we talked about before, bake, and a ton of other things. These are awesome all around grills for those that like to try do different types of cooking.
5. RevoAce 3-Burner Space Saver Gas Grill – Cheap Gas Grill
Not everyone has, or wants to spend a larger amount of money on a grill like the #1 selection on this list, and this RevoAce Gas Grill may be a great solution for that.
It is similarly design to the weber, and should work awesome for anyone that uses it!
In my experience the main thing you will notice between this grill and many of the nicer ones, is that this one probably just won’t last as long in the elements. Because of that, I would probably find yourself a cheap grill cover, and make sure to cover it up to help it last.
6. Pit Boss 2-Series Digital Electric Vertical Smoker – Best Vertical Smoker
Yes, yes I know, Pit Boss shows up a lot on this list (it will again as well), but this vertical smoker is a great little smoker for the price. That tends to be what Pit Boss is great at, value to the dollar!
This thing will allow you to smoke, roast, bake, braise, or barbecue because it can go all the way from just 100 degrees, up to 400 degrees, which is really impressive.
With three racks (which is the great thing about its height) you can cook quite a few things at once.
7. Blackstone Griddle Cooking Station – Best Full-Size Griddle
I still haven’t quite figured out why I like griddle style grills so much, it is probably because they make me think about pancakes, sausages and… great now I want pancakes and sausages.
Anyways! This Blackstone Griddle is essentially the size of a standard grill that you are used to, but instead gives you a giant griddle surface!
These are great for those people that like to do more than just grill outside, or want a good alternative to your kitchen stove.
8. Pit Boss Memphis Ultimate 4-in-1 Gas & Charcoal Combo Grill – Best Everything You Need
For those that just can’t quite make up your mind, this grill is for you! It is a 4-in-1 grill that includes a smoker, gas grill, charcoal grill, and an indirect cooker!
At under $600 you’ll get to show off to your friends that you didn’t know what you wanted, so you got them all.
But in all seriousness, this is actually a very cool grill that makes sense for a lot of people! If you do want multiple grills for their different upsides, this is a great option as it is much more compact than getting all of them separately, and for a good price.
9. Pit Boss K22 22″ Ceramic Kamado Black Grill – Best Kamado Grill
These grills are getting more and more popular lately, and Pit Boss has their own version! These grills claim to faim is an extremely even heat from charcoal.
I personally haven’t spent a ton of time using these, however if I were to buy one, this would be my first stop!
Bonus: Weber Rapidfire Chimney Starter – Best Accessory
If you have a charcoal grill, you need this – full stop. You would never realize it, but these chimney starters make your life so much easier when trying to start your charcoal grill!
All you do is put some charcoal on the top, light some paper in the bottom and it starts the coals. Then you pour it into more coals and they will light each other.
So much better than just pouring lighter fluid all over the charcoal you are about to cook your food with!
So there you have it! These are the best grills that I found at Walmart. This company is everywhere, and ships everywhere, making it incredibly easy to get the grill you have always wanted.
Now, for the meat! I would highly recommend you take a look at this company.
