I am a huge fan of key organizers, and personally used one even before this site talked about gear in general. I currently use the KeySmart Rugged that we will obviously talk about lower in this article, and also used their standard KeySmart before that.
That said, while I may enjoy a specific brand as my personal organizers, there are a ton of other great options on the market as well, and this article details what I have found to be the best key organizers out there right now. If you are in need of keeping your keys organized and not rattling around in your pockets, these are the ones I would look at to make a decision.
1. KeySmart Rugged
I obviously have to start this list off with the one I personally use on a daily (multiple times a day) basis. You can read a full review of the KeySmart Rugged by clicking on this link here. However as a summary here we go.
The Rugged is a beefier version of the standard KeySmart. It has thicker steel plates that sandwich your keys between them. It also gives you an extremely usable clip, that allows you to clip the KeySmart to the top of your pocket so it doesn’t get lost, and it also includes a can opener.
The Rugged version is durable, usable, comfortable to hold (because of the round corners), and a really decent price for something that will change how you keep keys on you.
2. Mopar Real Carbon Fiber Key Organizer Holder Key Chain
This is a much more simplistic take on what you would find from other brands! It features the Mopar brand (which is one of the main reasons I like this one), and is made of real carbon fiber.
Being made of carbon fiber obviously makes this unit one of the lightest weight key organizers on this list.
Outside of looking cool, and keeping your keys organized, there really aren’t a ton of other features, however do you really need much more?
I do wish considering everything that it was a bit lower price, but hey, it works.
3. KeyBar Aluminum
The KeyBar is extremely similarly priced, and built like a KeySmart. If you were looking for any form of alternative to a KeySmart, this would be it.
With an included belt clip, and all the boltwork you need to get started, it should be a great key organizer for a long time!
4. Meihuida Portable Pocket Aluminum Key Holder Organizer Clip Folder Keychain Keyring
Ahhh if you ever wanted to make sure your keys looks like a knife to really mess with people, then this is your best bet!
That aside, I can see how this key organizer would be comfortable to use, with its rounded, thicker design.
Best part about this key organizer? Its price. With one of the lower prices, and higher end design it should give an awesome value for anyone that buys.
5. KORCCI Key Organizer
This key organizer takes a bit of a different direction than the others mentioned earlier in the list. It follows more of a key ring design with a leather strap.
It then uses different lengths of key attachments depending on how many keys you need to add.
This style is really stylish, easy to use, and should be easy to find in your pocket.
I do worry that the keys will still rattle around a bit, and not be quite as durable as others on this list. However if you like the look of this organizer, it is for you!
6. Slughaus MICRO EDC Key Organizer
If you are looking for an absolutely no-nonsense way of organizing your keys, this is the one to buy. It is essentially a screw that goes through the top of each of your keys, and bolts them together.
You won’t find anything stylish about this, but it keeps your keys from rattling, and keeps them all in the same place.
It should be easy to put together, and should last a long time due to its simplistic design.
7. FUNCEE Portable EDC KeyOrganizer Aluminum Keychain Clip Key Storage Collector
This key organizer would be perfect for those that are looking to get the KeySmart but just can’t bring themselves to spend that amount on one of these.
I don’t think this will nearly match the usability and quality of a KeySmart, but it should get the job done, and do it well!
At under $10 though, it really is a great value.
8. KeySmart PRO
This is by far the most expensive key organizer on this list. However it includes all of the awesome features of really any other organizer on this list, and combines them with the Tile functionality.
Tile is a company that offers small tiles that have a locator in them. They can be paired with your phone, so that if you lose whatever the tile is attached, or inserted into, you can easily locate it.
KeySmart has partnered with Tile, to create the PRO. The KeySmart itself has embedded the Tile tech into the key organizer, meaning you will never lose your keys again.
If you are looking for a quality key organizer that has everything you need to get started, this original KeySmart would be perfect. It may not be the cheapest out there, but it makes up for it in usability, and durability.
I personally used this version for a couple years after being gifted it. I can’t say enough good about it, and highly recommend it.
10. KeySmart Leather
The original KeySmart is rather basic, but if you want to flair it up a bit and make it more professional looking, this leather version makes it just a bit fancier!
Once this leather version has been used for a while, it should look really awesome, and be one of a kind!
11. Orbitkey Active Key Organiser + Multi-Tool
The Orbitkey is really a nicer, better version of the Korcci that we talked about earlier in the article.
While it includes a loop style keychain that is made of waterproof, dustproof polymer thermoplastic polyurethane, the part that sets it apart is its 6-in-1 multi-tool that is included.
It acts as a bottle opener, multi-size hex wrench, box cutter, flathead screwdriver and a file.
Put this all together and you get a great quality, usable key organizer!
How do you keep keys quiet?
I remember growing up, I always knew exactly where my parents were in the store because of the sound of their keys. As I have grown up, unfortunately I have found that you don’t actually have to have your keys rattling around!
I have fixed this issue by buying one of the key organizers above! Not only do they make the keys easier to find and use in the dark, or without looking, they also keep keys quiet, and exactly where you want them.
If you are hunting for the best key organizer out there right now, one of the key organizers on this list should work perfect for you!
My personal favorite is definitely the KeySmart branded units, but there are tons of other great products on this list that should work just as well for your purposes.
