The DRT 1.1 Bike At REI Is On Sale Right Now

Reading Time: 2 minutes //  by Austin

We may get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. Thanks for the support!

With everything going on in the world right now, there is one thing for certain. People want to be outside, badly.

If you have visited any store that sells bikes recently, I’m sure you have noticed that they are likely constantly sold out, if not sold out of bikes.

The thought of being able to be outside on a bike seems to be just too much for most people, and so people are buying them up quickly! (including myself).

The DRT 1.1 Bike

All that said, today’s feature are the new Co-Op Cycles. The brand was built by the well known outdoors company REI!

The bike in question today? The Co-op Cycles DRT 1.1 Bike.

This Mountain Bike is on sale right now, but is regualrly around $549.00.

With the DRT 1.1 Bike you get an aluminum framed 21 speed bike with hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and back.

You’ll find Shimano branded shifters, front and rear derailleurs, and rear cogs.

Different sizes?

One of the biggest struggles I have is to make sure that I am buying the right sized bike, and I always seem to get it wrong.

With these Co-Op bikes, the DRT 1.1 comes in 5 different sizes to easily make sure you get the right fit. As of this writing it appears all of them are in stock as well!

How To Choose The Right Bike

Of course, its possible this may not even be the right bike for you! Here is a great video by REI to choose the right bike for your needs.

My Thoughts On The Bike?

Honestly, this bike has a lot of similar characteristics to other bikes on the market in this price category.

I really like that it has the disc brakes, and seems to be quality build!

Being able to have it shipped to your door, and in the right size is awesome.

Makes sure to at least check out the bike on REI’s site! Or of course here are some other great bikes from the same company.
