No one can deny, off road vehicle are huge now days. Vehicles like the Bronco that will be coming out soon, the Wrangler, Super Duty Tremor trim and more are all examples of great vehicles coming onto the market that are off-road oriented.

Ford is further dedicating itself to the market by launching the new Ford Performance Off-Road Leveling kit with a tuned suspension for Rangers and F-150s.

Here is what comes with this new kit:

  • Aluminum FOX shock bodies for cooling capacity over off-road areas
  • Front coil over springs to give the best possible spring rate
  • Vehicle-specific upper front mounts with polyurethane bushings to help with noise and vibration
  • 2-inch front lift levels the truck front to back

This kit allows for these trucks to have much better off-road credit and gives better front end ground clearance and break over angles.

How to get this option

The leveling kit and suspension tune will be able to be added at dealers for a total of $1,495 before installation. This is great, because you can choose a vehicle off the lot and have this added.

Conclusion

Not many people out there will ever need, or be able to afford a Raptor. So I am very glad to start to see some of the components like the Fox Shocks coming to other vehicles out there.

They may not be quite as off-road worthy as a Raptor, but it’s a great step forward.
