Lamborghini is a car manufacturer widely known for its luxury supercars. The Italian company, formally owned by its parent company, Audi, crafts incredible vehicles that can be considered works of art. They’re built for speed and performance and are a status symbol among many.

However, only a few know Lamborghini has offered several 4-seater (or more) vehicles over the years (including currently).

So, which Lamborghini’s have four seats? The most well-known 4-seater from Lamborghini is the Urus, a high-powered SUV that has proved to be one of the most remarkable SUVs out there. Digging into the past, you will find two other strange vehicles: the LM002 and the Espada. Why not be able to take 3 of your friends on an awesome road trip in a Lamborghini?

1. Lamborghini Urus

The main car made by Lamborghini model currently listed that does seat a family of four is the Urus. It is an SUV that combines the performance and sportiness they are known for with comfort and flexibility. The Urus can seat five and is the most passenger-friendly model they make.

On the performance end, you can take this crossover from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds with its whopping 657 horsepower. It can also easily handle off-roading (somewhat) and track racing, making it one of the most capable vehicles under Lamborghini’s brand.

This is also currently Lamborghini’s most popular vehicle right now! Sure, it’s an Audi that has been tuned to the max, but it allows us to get the other incredibly awesome sports cars we want. By far, this is the SUV that I want the most right now.

2. Lamborghini Espada

The Espada was a very different vehicle for Lamborghini than what we are used to from the company now. While it was still a 2 door vehicle, it had rear seats and a front engine. It was made for about a decade, from 1968 until 1978.

That said, it was by no means a slouch, as it had 325 horsepower, which was extremely good for the time. This vehicle is also one of the best ways to get into a Lamborghini at the lowest price possible, as they are regularly seen for under $60,000. Although, you definitely should plan on spending that extra cash on maintenance.

3. Lamborghini LM 002

Long ago, Lamborghini was a somewhat crazy company (even more crazy than now), and they made a concept for the US military called the Cheetah. The US military was looking to replace its vehicles, and the Italian company offered this vehicle for that contract! Unfortunately, the military did not choose this vehicle, and the project ended.

Later down the road, after a new acquisition happened with Lamborghini, this concept was revived and revised into the LM 002, one of the craziest upscaled SUVs to have ever been built.

The LM 002 was made before SUVs were anywhere near where they are now in popularity, making this vehicle one of the strangest vehicles on the road, and resulted in only 328 ever made, making them a scarce and a sought-after vehicle.

Why doesn’t Lamborghini make many four-seaters?

A car company as highly capable as Lamborghini should easily be able to make vehicles with four seats. So why don’t they? It all comes down to the image. Lamborghini’s are known for speed, performance, and exclusivity. Building basic transportation that can move families doesn’t precisely live up to the reputation they are trying to go for. In fact, Urus was only built to keep the company in business. It was a reluctant rebuild of an Audi (even though they did a fantastic job).

What other cars does Lamborghini make?

The body style most people associate Lamborghini with is two-door coupes. These vehicles predominantly have only two seats; so, they can only seat two people. The models currently in their lineup other than the Urus are the Revuelto and the Huracan.

The Aventador recently was discontinued. We actually have a whole article right here going over how expensive Lamborghini’s are!

Conclusion

The Lamborghini Urus will be your best option if you are looking for a family-friendly supercar from the Italian brand. Any of the other few models with four (or more) seats they did produce are rare and have some years on them. The Urus is readily available, as much as any other car of its prestige, and will be the most reasonable choice as you will be hard-pressed to find another four-seater from the supercar brand.
