Every year, most manufacturers make minor changes to each of their vehicles. Jeep is no different! While they may not be a mid-cycle refresh or a whole new platform, it is still important to know the differences when shopping for a vehicle.

Jeep isn’t making many huge changes on the Wrangler, as they recently launched the Gladiator.

Here are the top 4 things to know about the 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL!

  • The 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL is finally being offered with a diesel engine. This comes in the form of a 3.0 Liter EcoDiesel. It offers 260 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft. of torque. With this increase in torque that the other engines don’t have, a new eight-speed automatic is standard when selecting this engine. This option is only available on the four door versions of the vehicle.
  • Jeep is now only offering the Pentastar V6 3.6 Liter engine with mild-hybrid eTorque technology on the Sahara Trim.
  • You can now get LED lights for the headlights, as well as fog lights on the lowest trim, being the Sport Trim.
  • When you select the Advanced Safety Group, as well as the 8.4 Inch Uconnect with navigation. It will also include the auto high beams.
